“I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at AMSO in helping me achieve a distinction in my diploma. The staff are so friendly, helpful and always at the end of the phone or email if any guidance is needed. I started this course as a complete novice, never having held an ultrasound probe before! The modules online are excellent and straightforward to understand and had the added benefit that I could learn from home which fitted in with my family and work rota. Each module quiz could be taken at a time that suited me and the online content was enough to gain the knowledge needed to sit the quizzes confidently. The simulator itself is excellent in that it teaches you step by step how to scan correctly and indicates where you have gone wrong. The small cases on the simulator allowed me to examine cases that I would not frequently see in practice. I won’t pretend that the course was easy for me, it wasn’t! I had to work hard, but for someone who knew nothing about ultrasound I have finished the course with a new confidence and am interested to learn more!”
